Photography By Greg Gaskin
Welcome to my website, it is, and probably always will be, a work in progress. I first picked up a camera while I was in the Navy back in the late 70's. My first camera was a Cannon AE-1 and then I moved up to a Cannon A-1. After becoming a certified diver (while living in Hawaii) I purchased a Nikonos IV-A. After the service there was school, work, and all the other things that happen in life and photography just sort of fell to the wayside for 17 years. In 1999 my wife decided that I needed a hobby and suggested that I take photography back up. Ten minutes later we were in the local camera store armed with a discover card (and no reasonable sense of restraint) where I purchased a Nikon N90s and I haven't looked back. I have since gone through several cameras and more lenses than I can remember. I presently use a Nikon D7000, a Nikon D300, a Nikon D70 converted to photograph in infrared, a Sony RX100M4 and 12 lenses. I will photograph anything I find interesting but my main photographic interests are lighthouses and birds, particularly waterfowl. I live in Wyandotte, Michigan with my wife Rita and our dog Sparky.
